Terms of use
The rules governing the use of the quamtechs.com website and of all web and mobile applications published by QuamTechs: Q Learning, Altransp, IQAC, Immigration and Billetterie. This English translation is provided for convenience; in case of discrepancy, the French version prevails.
Purpose and scope
These terms of use ("Terms") govern access to and use of all digital services published by Quantum Technologies SAS ("QuamTechs") — hereinafter "the Services":
- the showcase website quamtechs.com;
- the web and mobile applications Q Learning, Altransp, IQAC, Immigration and Billetterie;
- any other service published by QuamTechs that refers to these Terms.
Specific conditions particular to each application (pricing, business rules, terms of sale) may supplement these Terms; in the event of a conflict, the specific conditions prevail for the service concerned.
Acceptance and modification
Use of a Service constitutes full and unconditional acceptance of these Terms. QuamTechs may amend them at any time; the applicable version is the one published on the date of use. In the event of a substantial modification, users with an account are informed through the appropriate channel (email or in-app notification).
User accounts
Some Services require the creation of an account. The user undertakes to provide accurate and up-to-date information, to keep their credentials confidential and to report without delay any unauthorized use of their account. Each account is personal and may not be transferred or shared.
Access by minors to the Services intended for them (in particular educational services such as Q Learning) takes place under the responsibility and with the consent of a parent or legal guardian.
Acceptable use
The Services must be used in good faith and in compliance with the regulations. In particular, it is prohibited to:
- compromise the security or integrity of the Services (intrusion, mass data extraction, circumvention of technical measures);
- publish or transmit unlawful, defamatory, fraudulent or malicious content;
- impersonate a third party or create fake accounts;
- resell, forge or duplicate passes, tickets or certificates issued by the Services without authorization;
- use the Services for unsolicited prospecting purposes.
Paid services and ticketing
Some Services provide access to paid offerings (subscriptions, tickets, transport passes, administrative services). Prices, accepted payment methods and cancellation or refund conditions are displayed in each application before the order is confirmed and are subject to the specific conditions of the service concerned.
Payments are processed by specialized providers (mobile money operators, payment institutions); QuamTechs does not store its users' complete payment data.
Intellectual property
The Services, their code, interfaces, trademarks, logos and content are the exclusive property of QuamTechs, unless otherwise stated (see the legal notice). The user is granted only a personal, non-exclusive and non-transferable right to use the Services.
Content created or submitted by users in the applications (courses, documents, application data) remains their property; the user grants QuamTechs the license strictly necessary for the provision of the Service.
Availability of the Services
QuamTechs makes every effort to ensure continuous access to the Services, without any obligation of result. Access may be suspended, in particular for maintenance, updates or security reasons, without notice or compensation. QuamTechs may change the features of the Services at any time.
Suspension and termination
In the event of a breach of these Terms — in particular fraud, security compromise or unlawful use — QuamTechs may suspend or delete the account concerned, after informing the user except in cases of urgency or where a legal obligation provides otherwise.
The user may close their account at any time from the relevant application or by writing to contact@quamtechs.com. The associated data is then handled in accordance with the privacy policy.
Liability
QuamTechs cannot be held liable for indirect damages resulting from the use of or inability to use the Services, nor for content published by users or third parties. The Services may contain links to third-party sites or services over which QuamTechs exercises no control. QuamTechs may only be held liable in the event of proven fault and within the limits permitted by law.
Personal data
The processing of personal data across all the Services is described in the privacy policy, which forms an integral part of these Terms.
Governing law and disputes
These Terms are governed by Cameroonian law and, where applicable, by the OHADA uniform acts. Any dispute relating to their interpretation or performance falls within the jurisdiction of the competent courts of Yaoundé, after an amicable solution has been sought.
